This Privacy Policy explains how FeedMyPost ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the FeedMyPost mobile app, the FeedMyPost WordPress plugin, and feedmypost.com (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, a display name, and a password (stored as a secure hash — we never store your password in plain text).
If you connect Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, or WordPress, we store an access token issued by that platform so we can post on your behalf. We only request the minimum permissions needed to publish content and read basic account/page information (e.g. page name, account ID). We do not access your direct messages, contacts, or any data on those platforms beyond what's needed to publish posts and, where applicable, read basic engagement metrics you've asked us to display.
We log actions taken in the app or plugin — for example, when a post is generated, scheduled, published, or fails — along with timestamps, to power your activity log and performance statistics, and to help us diagnose problems.
If you enable notifications, we store a device push token (via Expo/Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android, or Apple Push Notification service on iOS) so we can notify you about pending approvals and post status. We do not use this token for anything other than sending you notifications you've opted into.
We track your credit balance and subscription plan. Payment itself is processed by our payment provider (Stripe, and/or Google Play/Apple App Store billing for in-app purchases) — we do not store your full payment card details ourselves.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, browsing history outside the Service, or biometric data.
We use the information above to:
We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@feedmypost.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR as described above, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion — we do not sell your personal information as defined by the CCPA.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all communication between the app and our servers, and access tokens stored using AWS Secrets Manager rather than in plain text in our databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
FeedMyPost is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
