2) Create a Post Group
A Post Group defines your prompts and posting schedule. For TikTok, each run generates a video caption and an AI-generated video clip to upload to your account.
- Go to Post Groups and click Create Post Group.
- Select TikTok as the platform and choose your connected account.
- Enter a Name (e.g., "Daily Tips Reel").
- Provide your Caption Prompt — TikTok captions appear below the video and support hashtags.
- Include hashtag instructions in your prompt: "End the caption with 3–5 relevant hashtags".
- Use [[FEED_URL]] in your prompt to pull in dynamic content from a CSV or RSS feed.
- Provide a Video Prompt to guide AI video generation — describe the visual style, scene, and mood.
- Set the desired video duration (short clips of 15–60 seconds perform best on TikTok).
- Set Run every (minutes) and an optional Start time.
- Click Create Post Group.
Tip: TikTok's algorithm favours videos that are watched in full. Keep AI-generated clips tight — 15 to 30 seconds is ideal for maximum completion rate.
4) Post a preview to TikTok
When you're happy with the preview, upload it to your TikTok account immediately — no need to wait for the schedule.
- After generating a preview with a completed video, click Post Preview to Channel.
- The video will be uploaded to your TikTok account via the Content Posting API.
- Wait for the confirmation; the post may initially be set to private depending on your API access level.
- Open TikTok on your device to review and, if needed, change the visibility to Public.
Requirement: Your preview must include a successfully generated video. TikTok does not support image-only posts via the Content Posting API (use a video or slideshow format instead).
